Ingredients

  • 1 cup sprouted oat flour

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • ⅓ c whole milk

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 egg

Directions

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl.

  2. Cut butter with a pastry cutter or food processor. We found that a food processor worked best.

  3. Add in the liquid ingredients and gently mix.

  4. Mix gently.

  5. The dough will be sticky, but it will feel dense. This is normal when using 100% whole-grain flours.

  6. Drop them in tbsp-sized portions on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  7. Bake at 400-425 for 12-015 min. Until lightly golden brown.
