Ingredients
1 c organic whole wheat flour
¼ c sprouted whole wheat flour
1 tbsp buttermilk powder
1 tbsp powdered sugar
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking powder
¼ shortening
4 tbsp unsalted butter
3 tbsp orange juice
3 tbsp ice water

8 apples peeled and sliced or chopped.
¼ c flour
½ c organic cane sugar
¼ c brown sugar
1 to 2 tsp cinnamon

¾ c flour
¼ c cane sugar
¼ c brown sugar
½ c oatmeal
⅓ c melted butter
Directions
Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
Add in shortening and butter. Use a pastry cutter or fork to cut the butter/shortening mixture into the flour.
Add in your liquids. Gently mix together.
It should form a ball like this.
Roll it out onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out. Place into a pie dish.
Place it in the fridge to chill for about 30 minutes.
Peel the apples, chop or slice them up. Place them in a large bowl. Add in the flour, sugar and cinnamon.
Pour the apple mixture into the pie crust.
Mix the crumble ingredients. Pour onto the apples.
Bake at 350 for ¾ to 1 hour. Cool on the counter.
