Strawberry Tart with Light Custard

Fresh, light dessert for summertime BBQ or parties. Sure to please everyone that loves strawberries and cream.
Ingredients

3 crushed ripe strawberries

2 c. milk

6tbsp butter
-
½ tbsp vanilla
-
2 egg yolks
-
¼ c. sugar
-
1 ½ tbsp cornstarch
-
2 2/3 c all purpose flour

1 c. powdered sugar
-
¼ c + 3 tbsp sprouted whole wheat
-
225 g. unsalted butter
-
1 egg
Directions
For tart shell. Sift flours and ½ of powdered sugar into a bowl. Cream together butter and rest of powdered sugar. Cream in egg with butter mixture. Add flour mixture. Roll out and bake at 375 F for 10 min. Let cool.
Mix together milk, butter, egg yolks and vanilla until melted
Add in cornstarch and whisk until smooth.
Pour into bowl let cool a while.
Crush the ripe strawberries and that is the 1st layer on the tart.
Add the custard
Cut up 1 - 2 cups strawberries
You can top with powdered sugar. Put into fridge.
