Directions

1. For tart shell. Sift flours and ½ of powdered sugar into a bowl. Cream together butter and rest of powdered sugar. Cream in egg with butter mixture. Add flour mixture. Roll out and bake at 375 F for 10 min. Let cool.

2. Mix together milk, butter, egg yolks and vanilla until melted

   

3. Add in cornstarch and whisk until smooth.

   

4. Pour into bowl let cool a while.

   

5. Crush the ripe strawberries and that is the 1st layer on the tart.

   

6. Add the custard

   

7. Cut up 1 - 2 cups strawberries

   

8. You can top with powdered sugar. Put into fridge.
